After months of preparation including almost daily purchases of camping and travel gear from REI and Amazon, we were finally in motion! A 6 hour layover in Santiago prompted a taxi ride to town (“Alejandro”) and some seafood.
2016 London and Scotland
For Solomon and Brigit’s birthdays we went to Thai & Co for dinner with the family, including Laszlo, Maria and Zotmund. We walked there and back, and Mom said that she had trouble sleeping that night. Plus Soon is happiest cooking Korean dishes for the family and so are we!
Later, after Seong went back to work, I took a train to Glasgow, rented a car, went around Scotland for two weeks, and flew back home out of Edinburgh.
